After 25 years of fashion, the 2022 NCL Fashion Show & Benefit continues to impress the community with style, philanthropy and of course fashion. This year, the Fashion Show focused on 25 years of NCL Southlake and how it has grown to become the amazing organization that it is today.

The NCL Southlake chapter is a group of mothers and daughters who have come together to participate in community service activities, leadership development and cultural experiences. Members of NCL Southlake reside in the city of Southlake or attend Carroll ISD schools. Like all NCL Inc. Chapters, Southlake aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together.

Television personality Melissa Rycroft and Carrol middle school theatre arts teacher, Chad McCoy, were the emcees this year. Both emcees carried the event along very well with their dazzling personalities and witty humor. There was also an element of nostalgia as they played songs dating back to 1997, paying homage to the beginnings of NCL Southlake.

The models were made up of 82 juniors and seniors who put in countless hours of choreography rehearsals with choreographers Jennifer Nix and Clarissa Munoz. Bill Vaughan headed the auction with his exciting showmanship and light hearted personality. Everything from the cinematic style choreography to the engaging live auction made the evening delightful.

GRACE, along with many other organizations, was a proud beneficiary of this event. Other beneficiaries included Battered Women’s Foundation, Metroport Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics Dragons, NOCC, House of Shine, Summer Santa, Community Table, Humane Society of North Texas, Stepping Stones Foundation and Christmas Providers.

A special thanks goes out to Julie Haley, Marci Hobson and Debbie LeBlanc who devoted their time to serving throughout the community and putting on another great Fashion Show. Another thanks goes to the many generous sponsors that help funding for events of this scale. Lastly, a huge thanks goes to the production team, the dance team and everyone in between who made this an event to remember.

NCL has always supported GRACE in many ways. One of those ways is their service with the GRACE Feed Our Kids seasonal program, which takes place during spring break (March 14th-18th), as well as the summer months of May through August.
