Volunteer Appreciation week is here, and GRACE wants to take the time to thank and show appreciation to our wonderful volunteers. We have the best volunteers who are always looking out for the betterment of our community. For that reason alone we have a week full of fun celebrations for our volunteers.

Our Pantry Manager, Marcus Miranda has been coming up with different activities for his volunteers. He has announced that this year he will host a game day for volunteers. Wednesday, April 20th, at 11 am, volunteers are welcomed to come to the community room at GRACE Main to participate in fun board games, socializing, and delicious food.

Both GRACEful Buys Grapevine and Euless will be providing lunch for their volunteers this week. Donation Station will have fruits, cupcakes, bread, and more to celebrate. “Without volunteers, DS would not be able to get donations to the stores in a timely fashion,” Donation Station Manager, Dorcas said. “We along with every other GRACE program rely heavily on our volunteers, and we love them.”

The week will culminate with the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, April 22nd at 11 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville.  The luncheon will highlight volunteers and the impact that they have on the GRACE community. Awards will be given to the volunteer of the year for each GRACE program and site. Delicious food will be provided, along with a photo booth for friends and families to enjoy.

We are so excited about the celebration of our volunteers. Volunteers are the heart of GRACE and so much relies on them. We want to say thank you to every one of our volunteers. You truly are the heart of GRACE. For more information on how you can be a part of this awesome week, please reach out to the Volunteer Manager, Ryan Jackson, at volunteer@gracegrapevine.org.
