Torchy's

GRACE CEO Shonda Schaefer and Torchy’s Manager Matt Sanchez “make it rain” with Torchy’s gift cards.

The summerlong Torchy’s Tacos Gift Card Drive for GRACE netted an amazing $4,400 for our clients.

The Southlake restaurant started this initiative in June, but had no idea it would be so successful.

“Torchy’s is always happy to give back, and the response from our customers has been phenomenal,” said Managing Partner Brian Clark.

Brian and Torchy’s manager Matt Sanchez stopped by the GRACE main offices this week with a duffel bag-full of gift cards.

“We want to be as big a part of Grapevine and the surrounding community as possible,” said Matt.

Lara Sundell, GRACE’s Director of Community Engagement, loves Torchy’s creative idea to help the GRACE family.

“Torchy’s is such a valued partner,” said Lara. “They saw a unique need for these cards and stepped up to the plate as usual.”

Matt, who jumpstarted the drive, went on to say, “With everything going on, we figured it would be nice for [GRACE client] families to relax and have some free tacos!”

This generous donation is also a great reminder of our need for gift cards of any type.

It’s Back-To-School time, so whether the kids are heading back to class or learning from home, supplies are needed!

Gift cards to Walmart, Target, or Amazon are great ways to make an easy donation that will be used almost immediately. If you’re interested in making a contribution all you have to do is mail the cards to us or drop them by GRACE, 837 East Walnut Street in Grapevine.

If you are out and about, and in the mood for some great tacos, please visit Torchy’s Tacos located at 2175 East Southlake Boulevard. Matt, Brian, and crew are open for Takeout, Contactless Delivery, and the dining room is set with safety measures in place to help keep customers healthy.
