It has become a fixture in Southlake’s already stellar reputation for artistry and handsome urban culture. Art in the Square will showcase 150 of some of the nation’s top artists to benefit local charities supporting women, children and families.

Tens of thousands of visitors flock to Southlake Town Square to view the curated artwork and fabulous entertainers that take the stage each of the three nights of Art in the Square. This fine art jubilee, which takes place from April 22-24, isn’t without your favorite festival food and beverages, and if quality family fun doesn’t get your attention—free admission might!

The tremendous endeavor is led by Southlake Women’s Club, a highly-respected nonprofit in its own right with over 150 members and unrivaled community engagement. The club has been a pillar in the Southlake and surrounding community for three decades and raises funds for scholarships, grants and school supplies throughout the year.

The club forms a vigorous committee to carefully select each represented artist and beneficiary organization. Since launching in 2000, the event proceeds have generated over $3M in vital funding to local charities. GRACE is honored to be among the beneficiaries for providing relief to families in crisis by providing food, clothing, housing and education to those struggling in the community.

Producing this event is a colossal undertaking that relies on countless hours of preparation from Southlake Women’s Club members and community leaders. So if you still aren’t convinced to come see their hard work, keep reading.

Highlights of the festival:

  • Wide variety of artwork from over 150 artists exhibiting in oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, fiber and photography.
  • Juried emerging artists and youth art.
  • Continuous live performances on two stages.
  • Wide variety of food and beverage selections.
  • Community support with over $2 million raised to aid charities serving women and families in Northeast Tarrant County.

Fun for adults and kids of all ages!

Kids Korner is a special area of the festival for children of all ages to have fun and exhibit their talent that includes face painting, colored hair spray, sugar art, and oil coloring. Another kid friendly area – The Zone – offers thrills for teens and ‘tweens! Enjoy the bounce house, inflatables, rock climbing wall, a zip line, and a 4-way bungee trampoline for young and young-at-heart!

All Zone activities require tickets, which can be purchased at booths throughout the festival and also redeemed for food and drinks. A portion of all ticket sales for The Zone activities goes directly to our Art in the Square beneficiaries
