The 4th annual GRACE Designer Bags and Bingo was one for the books as 450 guests gathered at the Westin Southlake on Sunday afternoon, May 5th, to support the GRACE Transitional Housing Program! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our wonderful sponsors for their invaluable support, with a special mention to Park Place Lexus Land Rover Grapevine for their generous contribution as the presenting sponsor! GRACE and Park Place have partnered together for over a dozen years through several events to connect an unmatched experience with the opportunity to support those in need.

Located off 114 in the heart of Grapevine, Park Place dealerships have served as the venue for the annual GRACE Poker Tournament, have supported the annual GRACE Gala at varying levels of sponsorship throughout the years, and have been an enthusiastic supporter and host as the giving season kicks off for the GRACE Christmas Cottage! GRACE is thrilled that Park Place Lexus Land Rover joined us as the presenting sponsor for the second year in a row, helping to make an impact for our Transitional Housing and an unforgettable afternoon for our guests.

As Designer Bags & Bingo began, event chair, Lynda Warner, set the stage with energetic greetings and notable introductions! To follow, Rebecca Cox, GRACE CEO, reminded the room of the reason behind our attendance – to support Transitional Housing and the incredible impact that the program has had on both its participants and graduates.

Before the ten rounds of bingo began, the room was reminded of their prize options as the highly esteemed roster of Bingo Gents captured everyone’s attention during the Parade of Purses. At the conclusion of the afternoon, the winner of each bingo round was able to select one of the ten beautiful handbags they would take home.

A silent auction made its first-ever debut at Designer Bags, introducing a fresh and exciting dimension to the already-celebrated event. As the afternoon came to a close, the raffle winner took home a stunning Christian Louboutin tote purse and all guests were sent home with a purse filled with swag from our wonderful sponsors. With their swag bags in hand, this event left everyone with three more things: laughs, a purse, and pride knowing that they helped make a difference.

This year’s event was a true testament to the generosity and support of our attendees, volunteers, and sponsors, who all played a vital role in raising funding for transitional housing. A special thanks goes to all of our incredible volunteers who generously support us. Whether it was setting up or selling raffle tickets, your dedication and enthusiasm made the evening truly special. Thank you once again to everyone who played a part in making this event a success. The event was a wonderful celebration of community and giving, and it wouldn’t have been possible without every one of you. As we reflect on the success of this year’s event, we at GRACE look forward to continuing our mission of supporting Transitional Housing and making a positive impact in this community.
