Recently our Executive Director Shonda Schaefer, and our Programs Director Stacy Pacholick hosted Grapevine Police Chief Mike Hanlin and Assistant Chief Tim Hall on a tour of what will become the new GRACE building.
GRACE is excited to work with the Grapevine Police Department to provide a police substation at the new property on Walnut Street. Chief Hanlin even sported one of our special pink construction hats (normally reserved for mostly female GRACE Leadership staff) to show his support for GRACE.
The Grapevine Police is always so supportive of all GRACE programs and events, and regularly come out to show us their love. This week we were also proud to have them attend one of our Transitional Housing home blessings (stay tuned for more info on this next week!).
We are of course especially grateful to the Grapevine Police for allowing us the use of their former building on Dallas Road as our Community Clinic and Food Pantry’s temporary home. Thanks to them, we can continue to help our community by providing food, clinic and emergency assistance services.
