COVID-19 has done more than its fair share of damage in the last two years. The mere utterance of its name is enough to make a person groan, and this will likely remain true for decades to come. The economic, educational and especially mental effects have been extensive, giving some of our favorite businesses, big and small, no choice but to shut down. Knowing how many families GRACE would be forced to turn away, it became our mission to do everything in our power to keep the virus from coming between GRACE and its clients.

We are pleased to announce that 92% of our employees are fully vaccinated to date! On top of this, 90% of our GRACE Community Clinic clients are fully vaccinated as well, and the large majority have received their booster! It is becoming more and more clear that COVID-19 will be not be making a full retreat in the near future. With this in mind, GRACE has transformed every interaction with its clients to prioritize health and safety above all else, and has pushed our amazing Clinic workers and volunteers to limits no one thought possible. Since February of 2021, the diligent staff in our Community Clinic have coordinated and administered 2,436 vaccines. All vaccines are free, and they are offered to clients and staff alike.

Being forced to shut down was a frightening reality GRACE was forced to face when the pandemic manifested, like many other organizations. With the relentless dedication of our clinic staff, volunteers and partners Texas Health Resources and Glenview Professional Pharmacy, this reality thankfully did not come to fruition.

Please let our Clinic Nurse Manager, Shirley Roberts, know if you or your family need a vaccine or booster. We are actively scheduling appointments at this time for our next vaccine clinic here at the main office. This will take place on January 31st from 4-7 p.m. To set up an appointment, contact Shirley at sroberts@GRACEGrapevine.org or (817) 305.4681.

Thank you from everyone at GRACE for your diligence. We will get through this stressful time together. For more of the latest statistics on the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit this website.
