We are excited to announce that once again, GRACE has been recognized for our transparency and dedication to our clients by GuideStar. For the second consecutive year, GRACE has earned the Platinum Seal- the highest rating given.

GuideStar, which is a part of an organization called Candid, serves as a rating and recognition system for non-profits around the world. When deciding which organizations receive this award, Candid takes into consideration the accessibility of financial documents, how frequently information is updated and other practices that maintain the integrity of a company.

According to Candid’s website, “Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, Candid connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to do it. Candid’s data tools on nonprofits, foundations, and grants are the most comprehensive in the world. Foundation Center and GuideStar joined forces to become Candid, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.”

GRACE is grateful for our dedicated staff members Teresa Williamson and Kristina Davis for tirelessly ensuring that these standards are met for our clients. Accounting Director, Teresa Williamson, describes the time she dedicates to this every year as worth it because, “GRACE has always believed in full transparency with our donors and community. GuideStar sets the bar high for non-profits, so we are proud to have met and exceeded their requirements.”

A few other organizations that share the Platinum rating are Good Will, March of Dimes and the Audubon Society.

We are excited by our consistent rating and look forward to always maintaining our long standing tradition of transparency and commitment to our mission.
