This past week has been a busy prep week for the staff at Grapevine’s newest attraction. Chicken and Pickle opens to the public on January 17th and the unique, indoor/outdoor entertainment complex includes a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar that boasts 12 pickle ball courts and a variety of yard games.

On January 12th, GRACE had the amazing opportunity to be included in Chicken N Pickle’s Grapevine Chamber Ribbon Cutting and partnered with them to collect donations at the event.

Chicken N Pickle feels it is their “Cultural imperative to our community is to give back, with many philanthropic events and service-oriented endeavors to strengthen our neighborhood and beyond”. They believe in building long-lasting solutions to address the needs of the communities in which we live, work and play.

“Our mission is to provide an atmosphere that fosters fun, friendship, and community and we are excited to bring that to more cities,” says Dave Johnson, Founder of Chicken N Pickle. Chicken N Pickle’s cultural imperative to the community is to give back, with many philanthropic events and service oriented endeavors to strengthen its neighborhood and beyond. In 2021, through their four locations, Chicken N Pickle supported over 1,000 charitable organizations and donated over $70,000 to local nonprofits through their green cup campaign.

“One of our key tenets is to give back to the communities we serve,” says Kelli Alldredge, Vice President of Engagement at Chicken N Pickle. “We say ‘our hearts are local’ because we support our communities through philanthropy and through our business practices. We are thrilled to become a part of these communities and begin supporting the neighborhoods around us.”

The Chicken N Pickle Foundation was formed in 2020 and works in partnership with local health, wellness and relationship-building charitable organizations to build long-lasting solutions to address the needs of the community. In the last year, the Foundation has provided each store with $6,000 for the employees to identify and support nonprofit organizations in their area.

GRACE is thrilled to have such a philanthropic company in Grapevine and is excited to work with them to give back to Grapevine and North East Tarrant County!
