Style & GRACE Boutique will close its doors on August 29, but not before some truly great sales and savings.

Style & GRACE will officially close its doors for good on Saturday, August 29. The high-end clothing boutique will go out with a bang—major sales now through the month of August.

Jennifer Rawls, GRACE Resale Director, is quick to note Style & GRACE is not “going out of business”, but it is a measured business decision based on many factors.

The lease for the store space in the Vineyard Marketplace at Glade Road and Highway 121 is up for renewal in September. With the growth along the Highway 121 corridor, including the new Glade Parks development from Grapevine to the Mid-Cities area, a storefront like Style & GRACE now commands a significant price.

GRACE opened the GRACEful Buys Euless shopping center in 2015 to pair with GRACEful Buys Grapevine. Both stores offer a full range of clothing, housewares, décor, and furnishings. Last year, GRACE Resale established GRACEful-E, an online outlet for clothing, jewelry, collectibles, vintage pieces, and other items.

“The additional floor space at the GRACEful Buys stores and online selling opportunities offer a better return on investment for us,” said Jennifer. “We diversified our store concept with Style & GRACE and it worked well for several years, but there are better prospects now.”

Mandated store closures due to the coronavirus pandemic also took a toll. Capacity limits in a small space like Style & GRACE, and the general drop in foot traffic have resulted in a sharp decrease in revenue.

“After closing the store in the spring due to COVID-19,” said Jennifer, “[Style & GRACE] just hasn’t bounced back the way it should have.”

Each of the GRACEful Buys stores will be sectioned with a boutique area for the gowns, top labels, designer fashions, shoes, and accessories. Much of the jewelry and collectibles will make their way onto GRACEful-E site.

“We want to thank our shoppers and donors,” said Jennifer. “After nine years, Style & GRACE has built a very dedicated following.” Jennifer also thanked the volunteers and staff, especially Jana McGlone, the store manager.

“Jana was the heart of this store,” she said. “She knew most of her customers by name, and always kept an eye out for their likes and preferences.”

Jana will continue serving her shoppers through the GRACE Resale Department. In the meantime, she is mounting a series of sales to close out Style & GRACE.

Today and tomorrow, Saturday, July 24, everything in the store is 50% off. Monday, July 27, through Saturday, August 8, take 60% off.

Going into August—remember, like all GRACE resale items, if you like it, you better get it, it will be gone when you get back—Monday, August 10 through Saturday, August 22, the entire store is 70% off.

To finish out the month, Monday, August 24 through the last day on Saturday, August 29, everything is 75% off. Style & GRACE is open 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 2030 Glade Road, Suite 238 in the Hobby Lobby shopping center.
