Pegasus Logistics has an annual summer internship program. As the interns complete the program, they are required to do a community service volunteer project. They spent a day this week doing a full day of work volunteering at multiple GRACE sites.
They started out their day purchasing and assembling a big outdoor toy box at our Transitional Housing location, where they also worked hard on landscaping and maintenance, weeding, mulching and various clean-up jobs.
They then moved on to GRACE Main to continue landscaping and maintenance duties, and finished their day at Donation Station, where we always need help accepting items for donation at the driveway, and then doing initial sorting inside of our facility.
The interns worked hard from 9 am to 5 pm with barely any breaks, and we are in awe of how much of themselves they put into helping our organization.
We are so grateful for the support that Pegasus Logistics gives to GRACE year-round!
