The summer might be over but Grapevine Parks & Rec is still making sure you have a day at the pool while helping families in need.
The REC is accepting Back to School supplies through August 31. All new donations to The REC will receive a free pool pass or a limited edition t-shirt.
The additional supplies remedy situations for displaced or newly-located families in the midst of crisis, or those who were unable to attend the Back to School fair due to stringent work schedules.
For this reason school supplies are needed throughout the year, and all the extra donations will be housed by GRACE to have on hand for the upcoming school year.
The REC (1175 Municipal Way in Grapevine) is asking for new packages of socks, backpacks and lunch bags/boxes.
