The Leadership Southlake Graduation took place last week, and our Executive Director, Shonda Schaefer, attended the ceremony to thank the class for the incredible event that raised more than $17,000 for GRACE Fire Relief.
Leadership Southlake and the Southlake Chamber of Commerce organized a Parking Lot Party Gift Card Drive, with food and beverages provided by Scratch Kitchen. The event was widely attended and so much fun! It is always so wonderful to see community leaders and members come together for a good cause.
The Leadership Southlake Program is an initiative of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce and is designed to propel established leaders to the next level in their service to the community. The program provides a deep dive into some of the most challenging issues facing our society and allows program members to gain insight into what they can do to make Southlake a better community for everyone.
GRACE had a representative who graduated with this class, and will be featured on next week’s edition of the newsletter, along with the members of the graduating class of the Leadership Grapevine program.
