The Event is Sold Out! But we are forming a wait list and trying to find more room!
The response to our Designer Bags & Bingo (DB&B) has been more than phenomenal! So much so—and with so much time before the Thursday, April 23rd event—WE ARE SOLD OUT!
“We are blown away by the response,” said GRACE Chief Executive Officer Shonda Schaefer. “All tables and seats are sold. But, we do have two feature sponsorships available.”
This week, Shonda and event organizers walked the beautiful showroom at Park Place Jaguar Land Rover DFW in Grapevine to see if any more room—space for a few more tables—could be found.
“We are trying to reconfigure the showroom so more can attend,” said Shonda. “And still have a fun, roomy, and comfortable place.”
In the meantime, Shonda asked for those hoping to attend, to be patient, “If you are interested in being a part of this great experience, please sign up on our wait list. If we are able to open more space, we’ll be in touch immediately [with people from the wait list].”
Shonda believes DB&B resonates with so many people because the proceeds are slated to support GRACE Transitional Housing.
“Many in our community know about our growing focus on domestic violence and the importance of Transitional Housing,” said Shonda. “It represents safety, security, and intensive counseling for those who have suffered domestic violence in their lives.”
“Many women, often with young children, come to GRACE with little but the clothes on their backs,” said Shonda. “Our Transitional Housing offers them a way to put their lives back together, and plan for their futures.”
Those who sign onto the DB&B wait list will be immediately informed of developing plans. Tables begin at $900. Individual tickets are $100. Charges for tables, or individual attendance for those on the wait list will not be processed until approval is given.
“This is a great problem to have,” said Shonda, “We are thrilled and honored by the interest. We will make sure everyone has a great time, and the event will make a lasting difference in the lives of many families.” Click Designer Bags & Bingo packet for more information.
