With the holidays coming up, and the end of the year around the corner, a few GRACE locations would really benefit from some additional volunteer help!

Since opening this December, the GRACE Christmas Cottage has served over 600 families! The Christmas Cottage provides new, unwrapped gifts to families facing financial hardship due to limited income or recent emergency.

Because of the sheer amount of families served, in addition to all of the incoming donations, the Cottage could always use volunteer help— especially as we near Christmas! We want to provide our shoppers with the best possible experience, and it is because of our volunteers that we are able to do so!

Volunteering at the Cottage presents a few different opportunities: Shopping with clients, working the front desk, or organizing incoming donations in the back end.

The GRACE Christmas Cottage is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm. We encourage individuals and groups to come out and volunteer with us! If you’re interested, please reach out to Special Events Manager, Beth Chernik at bchernik@GRACEGrapevine.org

The GRACE Food Pantry has its annual Holiday Food Distribution next week, starting on December 20^th and will run until the 22^nd. During Holiday Food, volunteers give out holiday food packages to some very excited families! During distribution, the Pantry will need volunteers to help put food packages together and sort incoming donations.

This would be a great volunteer opportunity for groups and individuals. The Food Pantry is open 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, but please reach out to Volunteer@GRACEgrapevine.org for more information on volunteering over the holidays!

Before the year is over, the GRACE Donation Station will see an increase in donations (which we are incredibly grateful for!) and we need volunteers to help us! We want to be able to get these donations out to our clients and stores floors in a timely manner. Volunteers help with this by unloading donations from vehicles, sorting and pricing donations, and testing electronics.
