GRACE staff is always striving to be better for our clients. Professional development is a part of our commitment not only to our community, but also to our employees. During the month of May, three staff members graduated from leadership programs through the Grapevine, Southlake, and Northwest Metroport chambers of commerce.

Leadership Grapevine is a program of the City of Grapevine and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. Leadership Grapevine offers an educational experience designed to develop an awareness of the city, its relationship with the DFW Metroplex and to provide personal leadership training. At the conclusion of the program, participants are better prepared to seek leadership roles, both within their business and community. Marcela Melendez, Client Services Manager at GRACE, graduated with this class.

The Leadership Southlake Program is an initiative of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce and is designed to propel established leaders to the next level in their service to the community. The program provides a deep dive into some of the most challenging issues facing our society and allows program members to gain insight into what they can do to make Southlake a better community for everyone. Our Transitional Housing Manager, Jamé Scott, not only graduated from this class but was also the presenter at their graduation ceremony and one of the co-chairs for their leadership project.

The Northwest Metroport Chamber of Commerce offers a unique leadership program with the goal of developing region-minded leaders for our area.

Representing seven different communities, the program provides the opportunity for synergy and big-picture problem solving to anticipate and address the current and future needs of our region. Teresa Williamson, our  Director of Finance and Operations, graduated with this class.

Please join us in congratulating our staff members on their achievements!
