For the tenth year in a row golf carts will flow onto the grounds of the Grapevine Golf Course at dusk on Friday, April 5th, braving turns and hills in the fading light, directed only by the shimmer of glow-sticks and LED flashlights.

There’s a unique energy in the night air at our annual Drive Into the Night glowing golf tournament, which offers nine holes of golf under the starry sky.  Even more than the afterglow of a fun evening is the knowing that 100% of the event proceeds fund GRACE programs.

The money raised through Drive into the Night helps GRACE improve the lives of children in our community. The GRACE Feed Our Kids and Christmas Cottage are just two of many services that supports children and families.

The Feed Our Kids lunch program provides nutritious meals to children in the school district free- or reduced-lunch program. Many of these children would go hungry during summer weeks when school is not in session.

The GRACE Christmas Cottage provides parents with the chance to “shop” for their children’s Christmas presents with a sense of dignity and pride. Everything, down to the bows and wrapping paper, is included for a meaning Christmas celebration.

The glow golf tournament is a fan favorite because it lends itself to a unique experience company employees, friends or civic groups can enjoy,” says GRACE CEO Shonda Schaefer. “Along with sponsorship exposure, companies and groups know it’s a fun night out that allows for friendly competition that doesn’t take itself too seriously.”
