Volunteers have a special place in the hearts of many in the community. They are willing to give back their time and energy by serving in many different aspects. Whether sorting through donations or visiting our clients, GRACE volunteers deserve to be recognized for all of their hard work.

April 17th- April 23rd is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Organizations across many communities will be celebrating volunteers during this heartwarming week. National Volunteer Appreciation Week was established in 1974 and has grown to be worldwide that thanks volunteers for lending their time, gifts, and voice to support a cause they care about.

GRACE’s Volunteer Appreciation Event was virtual last year, however this year we are back in person and we want to continue the tradition of making our volunteers feel special. Every day of that week we will celebrate volunteers with appreciation events at each of the GRACE volunteer sites. Volunteers will be able to eat delicious food, chat with other volunteers, and enjoy each other’s company while sharing a common passion for volunteering.

Then on Friday, April 22nd, we will conclude the week with a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, hosted at Good Shepherd Catholic Community Church located at 1000 Tinker Rd, Colleyville, TX, 76034. Check-in will begin at 11:00 am, with the program following at 11:30 am. There will also be a photo booth on-site to take pictures with friends and family! The luncheon celebrates all our wonderful volunteers and will reveal winners of this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Awards. We would LOVE for all our volunteers to join us for this special annual event! Go here to RSVP today. Please be sure to RSVP by Monday, April 18th.

We thank our volunteers for being the glue for our awesome organization. Your hard work and passion for giving back is inspirational for many in the community, including our GRACE clients.
