Proceeds from our upscale resale stores generate vital funding in all programs, but before any goods are placed on the shelves or in the homes of displaced families, helping hands are needed at Donation Station.

This time of year the community gathers to make their year-end donations, and individuals, families and groups are encouraged to adopt a shift from December 21- January 3.

Only two things are required for this project: willing hands and an eagerness to have fun! Each shift lasts three hours, which sets the perfect schedule for a pre-game breakfast or post-project victory lunch at Old West Café—just across the street.

Donation Station houses all the items given by the community, such as clothing, housewares, linens, toys and books to provide assistance to those in the midst of hardship.

On average Donation Station receives 4,000 donations each month, which amounts to an estimated 120 cars a day. The multitudes of items we receive require stewardship, strategy, and elbow grease to ensure the products are directed where they will be most useful.

Please consider designating a year-end contribution to GRACE. All donations postmarked before January 1 will count toward your 2017 tax deductions. To be absolutely assured that your gift made it in time for the tax deadline, make an online donation here.
