Southlake Style is proud to announce FÜDTRUKY lives on! FÜDTRUKY is cruising into the summer with a new date after the first rendition of the second annual food festival was rained out. Come out for a day full of FÜD, TÜNs and BRÜs. The fun kicks off at 11:30 a.m. and continues on until 9 p.m. All the day’s previously scheduled live musical acts, including Devin Leigh, Doug Kent, School of Rock, Dan Quinn, LIVE80 Blaze of Glory, will play for the attendees.
Many of the same food trucks – Chiave’s Italian Street Food, Aunt Shirley’s Food Truck, Holy Frijole, Just Encased and Pokeyo’s Ice Cream – will be dishing out some delicious FÜD. And, because the event would not be complete without the BRÜs, they are proud to announce that craft beer from Shannon Brewing Company will still be available. Classic Wine Storage & Services will also be on site for those who would rather enjoy a refreshing glass of vino.
“We’re excited that all the original acts and sponsors will all be a part of this new date,” says Southlake Style publisher Mike Tesoriero. “We are expecting a fun and lively event for foodies and music lovers alike.”
FÜDTRUKY benefits GRACE’s Feed our Kids Program, which provides lunches for area children during the summer weeks when they may otherwise not receive one, so all efforts support our worthy cause. Southlake Style are setting a goal to raise $15,000 for FOK this year! Due to weather induced postponement, we are in need of a new set of volunteers who can come out to help make it all possible. Whether you want to help pop some BRÜs for guests or oversee the dogs venturing over to the Pet Plaza, there are plenty of exciting opportunities to get involved. We would love to have you there for all the fun and to help make this day a success at a time that works best for you. You can sign-up to volunteer here.
The event will feature a Pet Plaza and a KidZone just waiting to be explored. Mark down June 23 on your calendar for FÜDTRUKY because you won’t want to miss it. Kids are welcome, dogs are welcome, and FUN is welcome – bring out the whole family to The Marq’s Aria Amphitheater! You can purchase tickets at 817Tix.com. We hope to see you there!
