June 21 was the United Way of Tarrant County’s Day of Action! Because of recent disasters like Hurricane Harvey, their focus was to help local shelters and partner agencies restock the shelves with basic hygiene and cleaning items like toothbrushes, shampoo and more.
Volunteers came together and assembled hygiene kits and cleaning kits that contained essential items to donate to our Food Pantry and Community Clinic. Each kit contained words of hope and encouragement for recipients, making the connection that much more special.
