The First Quarter 2018 GRACE MVP Award winner was nominated based on Exceptional Customer Service, Outstanding Attitude, Interdepartmental Relations/Teamwork and Excellence in Mission.
This person is a wonderful example of the GRACE Mission and Core Values. If you’ve met this person, you know that they are one of the happiest and most pleasant people to be around. They are very calm and collected when working with clients and treats them with the utmost respect. This person’s door is always open to anyone who comes by, and they are always willing to help out. This person can be counted on to stay late when needed. She is very perceptive and diligent in finding necessary resources for the people who walk through our doors and need help. She always strives for excellence and growth and we are blessed to have her on our team.
The First Quarter 2018 GRACE MVP Winner is: Kassie Rivas.
Kassie is one of GRACE’s Bilingual Case Workers and also a FAITH Coordinator. She has worked from GRACE for 2 years – her first job out of college! She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UTA.
Kassie meets with GRACE clients who walk through the door to provide emergency and financial assistance. She also works with referrals from Compass Christian Church. She currently meets with approximately 35-40 people a week and provides them with not only excellent service, but also compassion, respect and help at a time when it is needed the most. We are incredibly grateful for having her on our team and this award is well deserved!
