Client services is the primary entry point at GRACE for individuals and families who are faced with financial challenges due to a recent emergency or low-income. GRACE caseworkers conduct an in-depth assessment to determine each client’s short and long-term needs and qualify them for emergency services. Services that GRACE either provides or assists in obtaining include financial assistance with rent, utility bills, prescriptions, car repair, gasoline, childcare and obtaining a GED. Caseworkers also provide vouchers to the GRACE Food Pantry and assist with clothing orders from the GRACE Clothing Room. Additionally, clients can qualify for assistance from the GRACE Clinic and for seasonal programs such as Back-to-School, Christmas Cottage and Holiday Food Distribution. Client Services also heads the GRACE Friends & Family program to assist seniors and the disabled with commodities, groceries and socialization visits from volunteers.
