From his garage workshop, William Snow creates amazing settings from repurposed materials.

William Snow takes everyday items and turns them into amazing creations. His latest artwork was repurposed from GRACEful Buys.

William certainly knows how to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Instead of canvas or clay for his artwork, William seeks unique pieces of furniture to repurpose with added color, and other creative ways to turn a common piece into an uncommonly awesome piece of art.

At GRACEful Buys, William found just the right piece of furniture, a swivel chair, and a tabletop to combine with a cast iron base. Add a mid-century laboratory stand, and the setting takes on a dramatic and unique look..

Repurposing has quickly become a favorite of do-it-yourselfers who like to recycle and add a touch of whimsy to their homes. It’s a thrifty and fun way to be green.

Repurposing is nearly unlimited, from stacked suitcases forming a quirky side table to a pair of old ski boots turned into planters. Fortunately for idea-challenged folks, there are dozens of websites, several “how to” books and a handful of TV shows dedicated to the subject.

At GRACEful Buys everyday is a treasure hunt with new furniture, frames, lamps and other décor constantly coming to the floor. Of course, there are racks of clothing for wearing or repurposing, too!

There are two GRACEful Buys locations: 418 East Northwest Highway in Grapevine and 700 West Euless Boulevard in Euless. Both are open 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturdays; and 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.
