Peace Together shares the spirit of compassion with GRACE and those in the community. They are looking forward to collaborating and supporting our programs with this wonderful walk. Peace Together would like to invite GRACE supporters to join Peace Together Walk, on Saturday, November 3rd, starting at 2:30pm at the Islamic Center of Mid Cities.

The team is taking their mission to a new level and hope with this walk to show there is no room in our community for discrimination, racism, hatred, bigotry and intolerance. The City of Colleyville is showing its support for this important work in the form of police escort and other assistance.

No monetary donations are requested; rather the Peace Together team asks that each person consider bringing new children’s socks or new or gently used children’s shoes to benefit GRACE.

Please note that all walkers are asked not to park at the Islamic Center, but rather to park at Good Shepherd Catholic Community, Congregation Beth Israel or First United Methodist Church of Colleyville (all relatively close to each other in Colleyville). Transportation will then be provided to the Islamic Center. You can walk the whole distance (approx. 3.2 miles to Congregation Beth Israel) or there will be several intermediate stopping points with transportation back to the parking areas. If you don’t feel a walk is for you, still please come and support this important mission.
