GRACE’s ability to offer a high degree of accountability and integrity is largely due to the group of Board Members who oversee the activities of our great organization. The collective expertise of the GRACE Board is second to none, and GRACE is pleased to welcome our new Board President Paul Bischler and three new community leaders to the slate: Victor De Vincenzo, Steve Haley and John Slocum.

Paul Bischler holds the position of Treasurer, Chief Sourcing Officer & VP-Finance for BNSF Railway Co. and is the former Vice President & Controller. Paul received an MBA and an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas.

He is a Southlake resident and member of White’s Chapel United Way Methodist Church.  His expertise in financial management will be an asset to GRACE as Board President.  Paul and his wife, Amy, have two sons, Blake and Ryan, who are all great supporters of GRACE.

Vic De Vincenzo is the Vice President of Pipeline Marketing and Administration at Atmos Energy Corporation. He and his wife Tina reside in Southlake and have been GRACE Gala supporters for several years.

He comes to GRACE bringing his excellent leadership and administration skills to the GRACE Board of Directors. We are so thankful to welcome this Board Member to GRACE!

Next on our list is Steve Haley, the General Manager at Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine. When Steve was in college he thought he would be playing baseball as a career, but instead he graduated in 1981 with a degree in hotel and restaurant administration from Florida State . In 2008 Steve became General Manager of the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, elevating the property to be named the “Business of the Year” in 2015 by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. He left for a year to serve as General Manager at the Brown Palace in Denver, but has since returned to Grapevine where he feels most at home.

Our last Board Member to be named but certainly not least, is John Slocum. John has served on the Board for the City of Southlake Park and Recreations Development Corporations Board for five years. He is a member of the Mid-Cities Care Corp Strategic Planning Committee as well as a Board Member of the Miracle League of Southlake since its inception. Slocum serves on the Board of the Bob Jones Nature Center and is a member of Southlake Kiwanas Club.

He and his wife Linda, former GRACE Volunteer of the Year, give selflessly of their time and talents through their work with the city, local charities, and their church.

Please join us and welcoming these three men and our new Board President to an already outstanding Board that features some of the best women and men in our community!
