The GRACE Gala season officially took flight last Wednesday as supporters gathered for the exciting tradition of the Gifting Party at Crush It! Virtual Sports Lounge in Grapevine. Friends, neighbors, and businesses came together for an evening filled with generosity and community spirit.
The Gifting Party is a tradition that allows staff and volunteers to collect exciting items for the upcoming Gala auction while honoring donors with food, fellowship, and entertainment. This year, guests brought in a wide variety of gifts—from restaurant certificates to luxury experiences—that will make the Gala auction one to remember. Every item collected directly contributes to the mission of GRACE, with proceeds from both the silent and live auctions helping provide essential programs and services to families in need.
The evening also featured heartfelt words from GRACE leadership and event chairs. Laurie and Larry Wall of The Wall Team, serving as this year’s Gala Chairs, shared their passion for the GRACE mission and the impact of community generosity. Auction Chair Lynda Warner, a well-known volunteer across the Grapevine area, expressed her excitement for the incredible auction items already secured and the ones still to come. Together, their leadership is helping ensure this year’s Gala will be one of the most memorable yet.
Raffle tickets were a popular highlight of the evening. Guests and supporters alike still have the chance to win an extraordinary getaway to Tulum, Mexico—and you do not have to be present at the Gala to win! Tickets are available for $50 each or five for $200.
GRACE extends a heartfelt thanks to Crush It! owner Mike Speets and his crew for once again opening their doors and making sure every detail was handled with care. We are also deeply grateful to our Gala Chairs, Auction Chair, businesses, groups, and every supporter who gave so generously of their resources, time, and heart.
