The 16th Annual GRACE Gala has been scheduled and officially announced! The event will take place on October 26, 2019 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center’s Grapevine Ballroom. This premier event will be filled with gourmet food, fine wines, incredible music and fun for all.
The official kickoff of our Gala season, the Annual Gala Gifting Party, was a lively and successful evening at BoomerJack’s Grapevine. Generous guests arrived with donations for our Gala Auction.
We received a wide variety of donations, such as beautiful Coach and Ted Baker purses, an Oculus Go, Nintendo Switch, and exclusive DeMarcus Ware autographed football and Cowboys helmet. Gift cards to upscale venues like Truluck’s and the ever-popluar Kendra Scott abound in our auction offerings, creating an array to please any taste!
With four months remaining until the Main Event, we are just getting started in preparing for an auction filled with show-stopping goodies. If you were unable to attend our Gifting Party but wish to contribute to our auction or make a donation to support our 2019 Gala, there’s still time. GRACE is incredibly lucky to have two of the fiercest and most fun ladies around, Lynda Warner and Daveen Miller, heading our Auction Committee. If you are interested in getting involved in Gala preparation, we invite you to attend our monthly meeting. Our next committee meeting will be held on July 19 at 9:30 a.m. at GRACE Main Campus, 837 E. Walnut St.
The GRACE Gala is the single largest fundraising event for our agency and revenues from the event are used to fund the many programs and services offered to GRACE clients throughout the year. Whether you would like to donate an auction item, become a sponsor, participate on our Decorating Committee, or just get involved with your GRACE Family, we would love and certainly can use all of the help we can get!
