We can’t speak highly enough of our GRACE Gala Co-Chairs, Lynda and Robert Warner. Not only did they spend countless hours securing monetary and in-kind sponsors for the Gala, they also spent seven hours of their own time this week to give tours of our new and updated GRACE Main Office.
Recognizing that GRACE started from humble beginnings and expanded over the last three decades as community needs were identified, its client facilities today are offered in several different locations across the downtown Grapevine area which makes it hard for people who have multiple program needs to be served efficiently. Barriers to receiving services efficiently like lack of transportation or having to take time off work multiple times undermine the self-sufficiency GRACE works so diligently to provide. It was under these circumstances that GRACE created the campaign to secure services under one roof.
We are so thankful to say that in the coming months, GRACE will be able to offer all of our client services in one building.
The tour included a sneak peak of the Pantry, Clinic, Clothing Room, Client Services, Development, and Administration, all will now be under one roof! Those that attended the hard-hat tour were able to see the new space that will not only serve as the main office for GRACE staff, but as a collaboration with One Safe Place, an organization that specializes in helping women escape domestic violence situations.
