The BNSF Railway Company operates one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America, with 32,500 miles of rail across the western two-thirds of the United States!
As a Platinum Plus Gala Sponsor – an elite sponsorship that underwrites our annual grand event to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical care and hope to families with event proceeds – the railway company’s example of servant leadership is just as significantly far reaching.
Feature Sponsors like BNSF have lifechanging impact on GRACE Programs that empower, sustain and uplift families who seek refuge in our community.
GRACE’s relationship with BNSF was forged with United Way’s historical “Day of Caring,” an initiative that motivates corporate partners to pursue service projects with local charities. Their investment has since evolved into countless projects throughout the years.
BNSF Railway has supported the United Way of Tarrant County for over a decade, and many BNSF staff members designate GRACE for their gifts. In addition, BNSF staff members have volunteered at GRACE in many capacities, including in the top echelon of volunteer leadership: President of the GRACE Board of Directors.
These dedicated individuals and company have undertaken tremendous projects to make improvements at GRACE and for our clients, ranging from repaving asphalt to tinting windows to cleaning and organization The Food Pantry.
They have cleaned, sorted, hauled and beautified virtually every GRACE site—from decorating the Christmas Cottage, to landscaping, painting and even taking on construction projects like entrance ramps and roof and concrete repairs.
The support of BNSF as a Gala Platinum Plus Sponsor helps set the stage for the annual evening, embodying the heart of GRACE’s mission. A deep, heartfelt thank you to BNSF for doing their part to make the GRACE Gala possible, and, most importantly, for recognizing the value of each client we serve.
BNSF Railway is one of the leading freight transportation companies in North America. The BNSF Foundation supports various causes, including grants, scholarships and a vigorous employee matching program.
