On Thursday, October 30th, GRACE hosted an evening of appreciation at The Glass Cactus of the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center to honor the sponsors whose generosity is making the 22nd annual GRACE Gala possible.
During the evening, Laurie and Larry shared their experiences as long-time supporters of GRACE and reflected on how a recent tour deepened their appreciation for the organization’s hands-on impact and just how many ways GRACE connects with the community. Their insights underscored the Gala’s theme — “Building Bridges, Changing Lives” — emphasizing that every partnership, every sponsorship, and every act of giving helps close gaps created by crisis and spark hope for self-sufficiency.
Rebecca Cox, GRACE CEO, shared highlights from GRACE’s outreach over the past year - 10,177 individuals making up 3,506 households were supported by GRACE, including 742 families who received rent assistance, 955 households who received help with utility bills, and nearly 10,000 pantry visits.
As the evening came to a close, long-time GRACE volunteer and 2025 Gala Auction Chair Lynda Warner shared exciting news that the Gala Auction is now open for bidding for all who have pre-registered.
This year’s VIP Party was sponsored by the Joanne E. “Jody” Matthews Estate, whose kind support has helped GRACE’s fundraising events over the past two years.
We recognize and honor Classic Chevrolet Fleet & Commercial, which proudly celebrates its 17th year as the Presenting Sponsor of the GRACE Gala. Their support and generosity to us and our neighbors in this community are overwhelming.
Our special thanks to the team at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, who made the evening unforgettable with a beautiful setting and a wonderful meal! We look forward to being back at the Gaylord Texan on November 15th for the 2025 GRACE Gala!
