Some of our most uncertain times are found in the process of a medical diagnosis. Whether it be the seasonal flu, a broken bone, or God-forbid terminal news, walking through that process, even if you have all the recommended tools, is stressful.
But, imagine that stress if you didn’t.
In November, a client came to GRACE seeking access to the Clinic for a well woman’s exam and follow up. She had already had her annual mammogram and while an abnormality had been found, she lacked insurance coverage to gather more information about the future.
Due to her circumstances, her loved ones have taken on the responsibility of her medical bills during this time and since she is uncertain of her diagnosis she doesn’t want burden or alarm them without reason, especially heading into the holiday season.
She was hoping the GRACE Community Clinic could provide a definite answer so that if a treatment plan was in her medical future, she would know for sure before presenting the possible financial and emotional changes ahead.
Her hopes were answered and she is now a patient of the Clinic for coming year and has access to the Food Pantry. Please join us in praying that her answer comes soon, and that it is good news.
