GRACE is excited to announce the launch of its new volunteer management platform, Get Connected by Galaxy Digital. The system is more user-friendly for both volunteers and program managers and will streamline the process for volunteers to sign up for opportunities and staff to manage its volunteer base which numbers around 3,900.
“We are committed to removing barriers to volunteering and Galaxy helps us do that,” said Michael Gonzales, Director of Community Engagement. “Whether a single volunteer or a group looking to serve, we are making it easy for people to connect with our programs and to make a greater impact on the people we serve.”
According to Independent Sector, the value of a volunteer hour is $36. Last year, GRACE volunteers served an estimate value over $325,000.
