Finding Your Place as a GRACE Volunteer

It will be another busy fall, and GRACE calls you to get involved!

Did you know the proceeds of sales from our GRACEful Buys resale operation directly support mission-critical programs?   At Graceful Buys Grapevine and Donation Station, volunteers can help sort donations, stock shelves, arrange furniture, and assist with many other tasks to keep our resale operations moving and profitable.  If you can spare some time when your schedule allows, visit the volunteer opportunity page for more information.

There are other special project opportunities, too.

Compass Church volunteers recently power washed and stained fences, repaired door frames, and built beautiful benches for our clinic, pantry, and client services areas. In May, the team from Holman spent the day cleaning up our campus by picking up litter, painting around the pantry, and washing windows.

We've also been fortunate to have several Eagle Scout candidates complete service projects including building rolling carts, painting, and other improvements.

And we're just getting started.

Our list of improvement projects continues to grow, and we'd love your help. Whether you have experience with carpentry, painting, landscaping, organizing, office improvements, data entry or admin skills, general maintenance, or simply enjoy tackling hands-on projects, there are opportunities to put your skills to work and make a lasting impact.

If you, your church, your company, or your community group are looking for a meaningful way to serve, we'd love to hear from you. Contact Amber Rainwater, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator by email or 817.305.4647.

Together, we can continue creating welcoming, safe, and functional spaces that allow GRACE to better serve our neighbors in need.
