The GRACE Christmas Cottage has been locked in! Yes, we know we still have fall leaves and turkey in our near future… but Cottage moves in THIS Saturday 11/8!
Each year, GRACE’s Christmas Cottage provides families facing financial hardship, a unique “shopping” experience by allowing parents to select new, unwrapped gifts for their children. The family is also given the opportunity to select a board game or puzzle; a small household item; books; and even wrapping paper to complete their Christmas traditions.
Tuesday, December 2nd, for our annual Christmas Cottage Open House located at 1250 William D Tate Avenue, Grapevine, TX 76051 (Previously JoAnn).
Please help us celebrate all the work that went into creating our Cottage by bringing a new, unwrapped toy or gift with you!
Santa will greet children at 4:30pm and at 5:30pm we welcome adults to enjoy wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres.
This program would not possible without the help and support of our community. Please consider the opportunities listed below.
*Note – volunteer times to help serve clients at the Cottage will be posted shortly. All current available slots refer to Saturday November 8th’s Move-In.
Once the Cottage shifts go live, gather your friends, family members, co-workers (or just yourself) and sign up for a shift or two to help out at the Christmas Cottage! Several shifts will be available and we can even help you decide the area where you’re most comfortable. Whether it’s working behind the scenes accepting, pricing and organizing donations or spending your time assisting our clients with check in or to “shop,” we could use you!
