The 22nd Annual GRACE “Angels Among Us” Gala was nothing short of extraordinary. On Saturday, November 15th, nearly 800 supporters gathered at the renowned Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, which hosted GRACE’s signature evening for the second consecutive year. As the organization’s largest fundraising event, the Gala continues to be a vital lifeline for the many programs that serve families and individuals across northeast Tarrant County.
This year’s Gala was led by Laurie and Larry Wall of The Wall Team, whose creativity, passion, and steady leadership set the tone for an unforgettable evening. As the creators of this year’s theme, Building Bridges, Changing Lives, their commitment brought warmth and purpose to the night.
Before the evening program began, guests explored an extensive collection of silent auction packages, posed for professional photos, and connected with fellow supporters who share a heart for the mission of GRACE. The energy in the room was unmistakable as attendees prepared for an inspiring and joy-filled night.
We were honored to welcome back our emcee, Maria Guerrero of NBC 5 DFW, whose warm presence and professionalism guided the evening with grace and excellence. Her contribution added an extra layer of connection and excitement to the program.
A cherished highlight each year is the presentation of the Angel of Grace Award, recognizing a partner whose compassion and service exemplify GRACE’s mission. This year, we proudly honored 121 Community Church for their unwavering dedication to serving families in need. Their generosity, leadership, and consistent partnership truly embody what it means to be an “Angel Among Us.”
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed dynamic entertainment, exciting raffles, an inspiring program, and a spirited live auction that filled the ballroom with enthusiasm. Stories of lives changed through GRACE’s programs—housing support, food assistance, medical care, financial services, and more—reminded everyone why their support matters so deeply.

To close the night, guests were treated to an unforgettable performance by the Manhattan Orchestra, filling the ballroom with music and celebration until the very last note. As attendees departed, they were delighted with delicious treats from Chez Fabien, a sweet and memorable finale to an extraordinary evening.
