GRACE is extremely grateful to be awarded the Humanitarian Project Grant from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This donation from the Church’s Humanitarian Fund will be used to increase the safety and security of the families in our Transitional Housing program.
With the installation of a security system and access to emergency transportation funds, participants will have the added assurance of protection and support. This assurance is crucial for serval of our families, as they are coming from domestic violence situations.
In addition to many participants, not having reliable transportation access to emergency transportation funds is significant. Families are still able to make essential appointments and foster self-reliance skills.
The Church has been involved with almost every one of GRACE programs in different capacities. Their generosity has also helped supply the technology used in our “Cooking Matters” Program’s teaching kitchen.
GRACE cannot thank The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints enough for their gift and continued support of our organization.
