The GRACE Community Clinic has many wonderful partners which is why we are able to deliver such a high level of care for our clients. One of those proud community partners is North Texas Orthopedics & Spine. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to the community is something that we as an organization greatly value – as do the patients who receive their care. We thought it would be nice to celebrate their first year with the Clinic by learning a little more about the practice and the services that they provide; longtime GRACE supporter Laura Redman with Reflections Marketing was kind enough to do that for us…

North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center (NTO) is exclusively focused on individual orthopedic needs, with doctors and staff that are devoted to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles. NTO is a comprehensive orthopedic and spine center for healing where collaboration is commonplace, passion runs deep and an undeniable culture of caring extends into the community. The practice has 2 locations in Grapevine and the Keller/Alliance area with 13 doctors and many other providers from physician assistants, nurse practitioners and physical therapists. They also opened a new Urgent Care at their Grapevine location with no appointments necessary earlier this year.

“There are such strong ethics within our practice; a desire to always do what is right, to embrace change, and to collaborate together for the best decisions. As a result, we are blessed with an extremely high percentage of word of mouth referrals from our patients, which is the greatest compliment we could receive.” -Lora Fulmer, CEO with NTO for 23 years.

NTO has been serving North Texas for over 30-years and has developed a culture of compassion and a commitment to excellence and is proud to be a community partner with GRACE. Whether that is serving with the Feed Our Kids program or the physicians volunteering in the medical clinic once a month.

“They’re an amazing organization. NTO does a lot of interesting procedures for pain management with our clients,” Shirley Roberts, GRACE Community Clinic Nurse Manager. “The staff is great… and big – I never seem to see the same doctor twice when they’re volunteering, it’s wonderful,” she added laughing.

NTO believes that there is no greater reward than making a difference is someone else’s life. It’s important to give back and it’s an honor to serve the communities. For many years now, NTO has had an outreach committee within the practice that focuses on community needs and looking for ways to serve. This includes food drives, serving the children at Christ’s Haven in Keller, providing meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth and working with several churches that feed the homeless. NTO also supports the Humane Society and works on various recycling efforts. Several of the physicians travel to South America on mission trips as well each year. Giving back to the local schools is just as important too. NTO provides free bi-annual sports physicals at the 8 schools the physicians are team doctors for and the practice is an active participant and sponsor with the Southlake Carroll Education Foundation.
