The life-changing services that are provided at GRACE throughout the year are largely made possible because of the dedicated work of business leaders behind the scenes.

GRACE is tremendously honored to have the oversight of vibrant community leaders DeWayne Smart, Founder of Smart Realty, Community Impact General Manager for Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Ana Erwin, and Corporate Sales Manager at The Laurel Allison Domanic.

The Auction and Sponsorship Chairs are led by Gala Chairs Stephanie and Mike Hays. You can read more about this wonderful family here.

DeWayne Smart

The Sponsor Chair is responsible for garnering support from corporate and individual sponsors at the Gala, which provides ample exposure and encourages patronage to businesses with a kindred desire to advance the GRACE mission for local families.

DeWayne Smart, founder of the aptly-named Smart Realty, is known for his dynamism and contagious energy. The Dallas/Fort Worth native has over a decade of experience as a broker and agent, quickly approaching $100M in career sales.

DeWayne leads by example and believes that an important element of a good business leader is to invest back into the community. DeWayne currently serves on the Boards of the Cowtown Executive Association, a non-profit networking organization and the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce.

Auction Co-Chairs

The Auction Co-Chairs lead a team that acquire in-kind gifts, unique experiences and vacations from local and international contacts. Proceeds from the sales of these gifts provide “everyday funds” for GRACE services throughout the year, and are a critical part of the GRACE Gala.

Ana Erwin

Community Impact General Manager Ana Erwin’s infectious, effervescent quality has made Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake Community Impact one of the fastest-growing publications in the Metroplex.

Ana comes from the Frisco region with a genuine love for this community. Ana confesses she’s the ‘unofficial cheerleader’ for GRACE wherever she goes, and looks forward to forging new relationships that benefits GRACE programs.

Ana’s first impression of GRACE was when she brought her team to last year’s Feed Our Kids, when the magazine adopted a site.

“The Auction Committee is already brainstorming and actively working together to make this year’s Gala one to remember for its success in raising significant funds for families who will turn to GRACE in the coming year,” says Ana.

Allison Domanic

Allison Domanic has mastered the art of service as a Corporate Sales Manager with The Laurel, an event venue nestled next to the Cottonwood Creek belt in Grapevine. Both students of Leadership Grapevine, Allison was particularly moved when she toured GRACE facilities and knew she wanted to get involved. When Ana recruited her to help, she knew it would be a perfect fit to use her talents.

We applaud these community leaders for sacrificing their schedules to make 2017 GRACE Gala a special one.

As GRACE’s largest fund raising event of the year, the funds raised support the GRACE mission to provide relief to families struggling from paycheck to paycheck or after a recent job loss or other major life event.  Sponsorships range from $2,000 to $20,000. Individual tickets are $325, and a table of ten is $3,000. Auction item sponsorships are also available. Contact Chelsea Rose for tailored sponsorship options.
