The GRACE MVP Award winner is nominated based on exceptional customer service, outstanding attitude, innovative thinking, interdepartmental collaboration, teamwork, and excellence in mission.

Marta encompasses all the criteria of this award. As the Assistant Manager at Donation Station, Marta is often one of the first people the majority of corporate, civic and faith-based groups come in contact with at GRACE as volunteers.

Not only is Donation Station a touch point for many donors, it is a bustling warehouse where virtually all item donations are sorted, processed and delivered for material assistance or resale merchandise.

Such a place requires tenacious leadership, physical endurance and positive stamina, all for which Marta is so aptly fit in her role.

A native of Hungary, Marta has made the United States her home for over 25 years. Prior to working for GRACE, Marta volunteered with Christmas Cottage, and at several campuses at Keller ISD.

“I love GRACE because we are the community helping the community,” says Marta. “We welcome a family-like environment that commiserates and celebrates together.”

Congratulations, Marta!
