It’s been said that social work is the art of listening and the science of hope. The GRACE Social Workers not only advocate for clients to make positive changes in their lives, they provide unyielding support and helpful tools for promising paths.

For March’s Social Worker Month we can’t help but highlight the top-notch cast of social workers who call GRACE home.

There simply isn’t a more worthy group of Social Workers than the dedicated women at GRACE: Marcela Melendez, LaDondra Wilson and Lori Headley.

Marcela (Marcy) oversees the Client Services department and GRACE case managers, who collaborate with family members daily to find creative solutions to overcome financial hardship.

LaDondra (Dee) oversees our Transitional Housing program, which provides holistic care to predominantly single parent families fleeing domestic abuse or other family emergency. Lori Headley functions as the other Social Worker at the Transitional Housing program.

Being a Social Worker isn’t always easy, but that staff at GRACE believe that it’s always worth it. Thanks for all that you do to encourage and strengthen our clients!
