The holiday season is finally upon us, and what better way to show Santa how good you’ve been this year than to volunteer at GRACE? Coming out of COVID-19, GRACE has welcomed back some of its outstanding and heartwarming volunteer sites for you and the whole family to dive back in to together!
A community favorite that is right around the corner is GRACE’s annual Christmas Cottage Open House! This year, all things ~Cottage~ will be led by our spirited seasonal coordinator, Beth Chernik. Volunteers are always needed for the Christmas Cottage. Our volunteers are always helping operations run smoothly and making our families feel comfortable. Whether it’s restocking the toy shelves or loading presents into vehicles, there is a place for you to volunteer during GRACE’s annual Christmas Cottage. Another popular way to get involved is through our Donation Station. This is the hub of operations for all donations from the community. All items are then processed and sorted to provide shoppers with a clean, pleasant shopping experience. Now that our new location is open, there is no such thing as too many hands. If you are an organizational guru, this is your sign to get plugged in here!
GRACEful Buys Grapevine and GRACEful Buys Euless are our two resale storefronts that fund a large portion of the annual budget. Both sites are very popular within the Grapevine and Euless community. Volunteering at either one of these resale venues will give you the opportunity to connect with our community and make a difference in someone’s life. Volunteering here will have you carrying a piece of GRACE back home with you.
The Food Pantry is one of GRACE’s founding services. The Food Pantry is designed as a grocery store with a voucher system for our clients to shop and select the food items that meet the cultural and dietary needs of their households. This may come as a surprise, but volunteers are always needed here as well! Unloading, sorting, pricing and helping clients load into their vehicles are some of the areas we would love your help.
