GRACE celebrates the launching of Rooted In GRACE, a building initiative that will house all programs under one roof.

The community is invited to take part in our Groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, November 16 from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

The program will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the building site, located at 837 & 843 East Walnut Street in Grapevine, and will include a community blessing and words from community leaders.

ABOUT

The founding of GRACE came from a small group of church leaders who wanted to create a single source to assist those in their congregations who had fallen on hard times.

In the last thirty years the scope of GRACE has expanded as the need has drastically increased. Even in an area of relative affluence like Northeast Tarrant County, hunger is extensive and widespread. In the last five years alone the number of GRACE Food Pantry clients has nearly doubled.

This exciting building project plans for a centralized location to provide emergency assistance, food, clothing, shelter, medical care, referrals and counseling. This allows us to collaborate most effectively with clients and departments to provide various solutions in one visit.

THE VISION

At the completion of Phase One, GRACE will relocate Client Services, Clothing Room, Administrative offices and Community Rooms to one complex. Now under the same roof, the current Food Pantry and Community Clinic will undergo renovations for program expansion.

At the completion of Phase Two, GRACE will utilize current GRACE Main location as an intake, sorting, and distribution Donation Station. A warehouse will be constructed north of the parking lot for rotating inventory and seasonal storage.
