Our phasing process is underway. All GRACE staff are following masking and distancing guidelines. And store counters, carts, and all public areas get a disinfectant cleaning throughout the day.
We are so thrilled to welcome back our customers—regular and new, said GRACE Resale Director Jennifer Rawls.
“It seems like it’s been forever,” said Jennifer. GRACE shops closed in mid-March only days before the mandatory closures were handed down by the state. “It’s great to finally open our doors and greet all of our friends once again.”
The GRACEful Buys centers in Grapevine and Euless and the Style & GRACE shop at Glade Road and 121 have been performing limited “soft openings” for a few weeks to ensure the proper protocols were in place.
“We are fully confident all measures are being taken to ensure the safety of our shoppers, our volunteers, and our staff,” said Jennifer.
“Most of our shoppers come in wearing masks,” she said. “But rest-assured, all of our staff and volunteers are masked. Many are also gloved, especially those stocking the shelves.”
Those who shop thrift stores regularly know that hygiene standards can vary from store to store.
“We want GRACE to have the same safeguards, the same cleanliness expectations, as top department stores,” said Jennifer.
Those who are new to thrifting have a treat in store at GRACE. You never know what you’ll find in the racks and on the shelves.
The very cool thing about GRACE shops is that everything—EVERYTHING—is one-of-a-kind. And for dedicated thrift store shoppers, it is just understood: if you see something awesome, pick it up. Odds are it’s not going to be there when you come back around.
For many thifting gives a “thrill of the hunt” sensation and GRACE stores are chock-a-block with great finds, terrific prices, and lots of yesteryear-type vintage or tag-still-attached new merchandise.
