We rely on our volunteers each day we operate at GRACE, but there is one week a year that we are able to show small gestures of how much they matter to the organization.

National Volunteer Week started on April 25, and there was no shortage of goodies, decorations and fun activities at each program site. This year Program Managers had fun with a Latin-American theme to show their volunteers how excelente their volunteers truly are.

If you have volunteered with GRACE at any capacity, we hope you’ll join us on May 5, 2017 at Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine for the 2017 GRACE Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. This fiesta will be complete with a photo booth, craft stand, and of course, delicious Tex-Mex courtesy of the hotel catering team.

In 2016, volunteers invested over 51,553 hours at the Community Clinic, Food Pantry, Clothing Room, Resale stores, Donation Station, Friends & Family, special event planning.

We look forward to celebrating with you on Cinco de Mayo. Be sure to RSVP to Chelsea Rose as soon as possible to account for comida.

Only when you give joyfully, without hesitation or thought of gain, can we truly know what love means. – Leo Buscaglia
