Leadership Grapevine, is a program of the City of Grapevine and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, that offers an educational experience designed to develop an awareness of the city, its relationship with
the DFW Metroplex and to provide personal leadership training.

Members of the group celebrated Health & Human Services Day this week with presentations by JPS Health Network, Baylor Grapevine, and a tour of the GRACE facilities hosted by our CEO Shonda Schaefer.

“We are always so very honored to host a learning day at GRACE from the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program,” said Shonda.
“As the students are preparing for leadership roles in our community, it is a privilege to help them understand the challenges facing the hardworking folks who seek assistance from GRACE.”

The 20 participants were also treated to a Gatehouse Bus Tour and lunch provided by GRACE.

“Being a part of events like this are so important to us as an organization,” said Director of Community Engagement Lara Sundell. “We love participating in Health & Human Services Day!”

Leadership Grapevine participants are selected through an application and selection process, with the purpose of this process to assure a mix of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences that represent a cross-section of the city.
