GRACE Board member and former Mayor of Southlake accepted the 2015 Community Impact Award at Southlake Style magazine’s annual ‘Best of’ gala at The Marq Southlake (the venue itself being one of Terrell’s hallmark achievements).
Southlake Style’s Community Impact Award has recognized the city’s most significant contributors to its outstanding quality of life, including men and women in the commerce, arts and education sector.
For an event that highlights businesses and individuals that have enriched the place in which we live and work, no one could be more aptly named for bringing out the best in Southlake.
Terrell left a flourishing legacy that continues to make Southlake one of the most desirable communities in the nation. His unmatched tenure of zoning and development experience seems to pale in comparison from those who laud Terrell’s poised spirit and moral courage.
It’s also made readily apparent by close friend and Mayor Laura Hill’s introduction that John’s longtime love for his community ignited his role as Mayor, not the other way around.
We are tremendously blessed to have such a seasoned member of the community as part of the GRACE family, and congratulate him for his well-deserved recognition!
