The first quarter 2016 GRACE MVP award winner Geraldine (Gerri) Flores was nominated based on exceptional customer service, outstanding attitude, teamwork and excellence in mission.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, Gerri’s skillset is the best of both worlds at the Community Clinic. Her ability to perform specialized medical tasks and organizational management skills ensure the clinic runs smoothly from day to day.

Although her hard work is highly valued in an administrative capacity, it’s her infectious spirit and caring attitude that quickly wins the hearts of every patient and staff member who comes in contact with her.

Under the direction of Clinic Nurse Manager Shirley Roberts, Shirley and Gerri take a highly personal approach to meet the holistic needs of each patient. The duo is passionate about going beyond the physical conditions to address the emotional and spiritual needs for complete family well-being.

Their desire to see patients thrive is reflected in the progress their patients make to achieve sustained health, showing that a joyful heart truly is the best medicine.

Gerri was nominated for always being engaged, mission focused and highly driven in her role. She continually goes beyond what is expected of her to serve every person in need, which is what makes her a shining asset to the team.

Congratulations, Gerri!
