In May, members of NorthGate Constructors and their affiliates met at Bear Creek Country Club for a day of well-deserved fun, relaxation and charity at the 2019 NorthGate Constructors Connector Cup Golf Tournament.

The annual golf tournament raised funds for our life-changing Programs.  Alyssa Tenorio, the Public Information Manager for NorthGate Constructors, stopped by GRACE last Friday to present their gift of $60,000 raised at this year’s tournament!

Over 150 golfers turned up bright and early at the golf course for some friendly competition and tremendously helpful fundraising.  There was no shortage of fun out on the course, and certainly no shortage of generosity.  Players were more than eager to dole out $20, $50 and $100 extra cash for GRACE on the spot.

Last year’s tournament resulted in a gift of $20,000 to GRACE, and now this year’s fundraising tripled!  We owe tremendous thanks to NorthGate Constructors and everyone who was a part of the tournament!

If you’ve driven anywhere around Grapevine, you’ve seen their trucks and their handiwork. NorthGate Constructors is the firm behind the $1 billion DFW Connector Project that designed and built eight-and-a-half miles of new roads in Grapevine, Southlake and Irving.

The project has doubled the size of the existing highway system around the north entrance to DFW International Airport. In May, NorthGate Constructors broke ground on its newest project: a $370 million makeover of the I-635 and Highway 121 interchange in Grapevine.

The project will widen and reconstruct the interchange, providing smoother entrances and exits and adding more lanes for drivers.
