Members of the Grapevine Chamber Leadership Class learn about GRACE.

Members of the Grapevine Chamber Leadership Class conducted their morning session of “Health and Human Services Day” at GRACE yesterday.

Nearly forty emerging community leaders and their advisers learned about the work GRACE does in the community, and the role volunteers and other supporters have in helping those in need.

GRACE CEO Shonda Schaefer addressed the assembly and presented the challenges GRACE clients face in the community. She detailed the ways GRACE tries to resolve the challenges and crises that bring so many people to GRACE.

Shonda and GRACE Volunteer Manager Alicia Fike then led groups on a tour of GRACE facilities before they returned to the Community Rooms for lunch.

Today, the show is on the road! Shonda was a featured panel guest at the new Charles Schwab campus in Westlake for the Metroport Chamber Leadership group. The Metroport Chamber of Commerce serves the communities of Argyle, Haslet, Justin, Northlake, Roanoke, Trophy Club and Westlake.

GRACE is proud and honored to take part in the leadership programs at chambers of commerce throughout north Tarrant County, including Colleyville, Grapevine, HEB, Metroport and Southlake.
